This Privacy Policy explains how Yovee collects, uses, processes, and protects your personal information. Yovee is an activity-based social networking platform designed to connect users through shared real-world activities. We do not operate as a dating or romantic matchmaking service.

We collect information you provide during account creation, such as name, email address, date of birth, profile photos, and activity preferences. We also collect device information, usage data, and approximate location data to enable activity-based discovery features.
2. Activity-Based Matching Data
Yovee connects users based on selected activities such as sports, coffee meetups, travel, or cultural events. We process activity intent selections solely to enable relevant connections and do not perform romantic compatibility profiling.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests (such as platform safety and fraud prevention), legal obligations, and user consent where required under applicable data protection laws including GDPR.
4. Location Data
We may process approximate location data to show relevant nearby activities. Precise GPS data is only processed with your explicit permission and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.

6. Moderation & Safety
We process limited data to detect abuse, enforce Community Guidelines, and review reports. Accounts violating platform rules may be restricted or permanently removed.

Yovee is intended only for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Accounts found to belong to individuals under 18 will be removed.

13. Security Measures
We implement encryption, access controls, monitoring systems, and secure infrastructure to protect personal data. However, no online system is 100 percent secure.
